Ingredients

  1. For Idli -
  2. 3 bowlsCurd
  3. 3 bowlsSemolina
  4. 3 tspSalt, Eno
  5. Water a/c to consistency
  6. For Sambhar -
  7. 2 bowlBoiled Tuvar dal
  8. 2Chopped tomato
  9. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  11. 1/4 tspAmchur powder
  12. 1/4 tspGaram masala
  13. 1 1/2 tspSambhar masala
  14. to tasteSalt
  15. 2 tspTarmarind chutney
  16. 2 tspSugar
  17. 1/4 tspJeera
  18. 1-2bay leaf(tez patta)
  19. as requiredoil

Cooking Instructions

    First of all take semolina in bowl. Then add curd and salt in it mix well.

  2. 2

    If required then add water for making batter. Lastly add eno mix properly. And make idli in idli maker.

  3. 3

    In pan take oil. Then jeera and tez patta.

  4. 4

    Now add tomato. When tomato becomes soft then add all remaining ingredients in it.

  5. 5

    Add water a/c to taste. Sambhar is ready.
