Cooking Instructions

Wash dal and rice properly. Sock it for 5-6 hrs.

Drain the water. Take dal in mixer jar and grind it coarsely. do not use water while grinding.

Afterwards beat the batter in one direction so that batter wiill be airry and fluffy. This will make dalwada soft from inside.

Add onions, chilli, garlic, ginger, salt and hing, coriander, mix well to prepare batter. Before making dalwada add baking soda and mix well.

Heat oil in a pan. Fry lemon size vada on medium to low flam. Keep aside. When you want to serve fry it again on medium flam. Serve hot with fried chilli and chopped onions. Enjoy hot on a rain day. (When you double fry dalwada it will become crispy from outside and soft inside)
