Ingredients

  1. Vegetable (green aka alaihu)
  2. Egusi (melon seed/agushi)
  3. Seasoning, spices of choice
  4. Locust bean (daddawa/iru/Ogiri)
  5. Red oil
  6. Blend of tomatoes, scotch bonnet, chilli, onions. (Kayan miya)
  7. Meat/icefish

Cooking Instructions

    Boil meat with daddawa, spices and seasoning

  2. 2

    Add up kayan miya and allow for a while

  3. 3

    Sprinkle agushi according to how thick you want your soup to be, and allow to cook well.

  4. 4

    Add up your fish and allow for few minutes

  5. 5

    Add the shredded alaihu and red oil, allow to simmer for less than 5 min

  6. 6

    Serve with semo, tuwo or rice.
