  1. 2 cupsidli batter or dosa batter
  2. 1medium onion finally chopped
  3. 1/2 cupfinely chopped Capsicums
  4. 1/4 cupcarrot finally chopped
  5. 1/4 cuptomato finally chopped
  6. 1 tbspgreen chillies, chopped finely
  7. 3 tbspoil
  8. as per tasteSalt
  9. Forbatter-
  10. 3 cupsdosa rice
  11. 1 cupurad daal
  12. 1/2 tspmethi seeds
  13. 2 tbsp poha/ chura
  14. As per tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Dosa batter preparation:
    In a large bowl soak 3 cups rice and ½ tsp methi for 5 hours.

    In another bowl soak 1 cup urad dal for 5hours.drain off the water from urad, dal rice, and poha.take a mixture jar and all ingredients blend to smooth paste. Take some water and mix well

    Transfer the smooth and fluffy batter of all into a large bowl.

    Now cover and rest in a warm place for 8-10 hours or till the batter ferments and doubles.

    After 8 hours, batter doubles indicating well fermented with air pockets present. add salt to the batter and mix well.

    Heat non-stick tawa over medium flame. Add few drops of oil on hot tawa.

    Pour one laddle batter and spread it in round shape by gently rotating the ladle in clockwise,make sure that batter spread is slightly thicker than a batter spread for Dosa.

    Sprinkle finely chopped onion and finely chopped carrots, green beans, green chillies, capsicum over it.Press the veggies with a spatula.1-teaspoon oil around the edge.

    Cook for 3 minutes until bottom surface turns light golden brown. cover it with a lid to speed up the cooking process.

    Flip it gently and cook another side for a minute or until the bottom surface looks cooked.

    Transfer it to a plate.Serve it hot with coconut chutney or tomato onion chutney.
