I made my own version of a recipe I saw on a cooking programme. It's also nice with chicken breast.

Ingredients

  1. 300 gramsPork (for curry)
  2. 1Katakuriko
  3. 2 tsp☆The juice from grated ginger
  4. 1 tbsp☆Sake
  5. 2 tsp☆Soy sauce
  6. 1☆Egg yolk
  7. 1Onion
  8. 2Green peppers
  9. 1Oil
  10. 1 tbsp★Ketchup
  11. 8 tbsp★Sweet and sour soy sauce
  12. 1/2 tsp★Doubanjiang
  13. 2 tbsp★Water
  14. 1 tbspKatakuriko
  15. 1 tbspWater
  16. 1Sesame oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the pork in the ingredients marked ☆. Slice the onion and green peppers into bite-sized pieces. Mix the ingredients marked ★ and set aside.

    Coat the pork in katakuriko and deep-fry. Quickly deep-fry the vegetables in oil.

  3. 3

    Put the ingredients marked ★ in a frying pan, let them simmer, then stop the heat. Add the katakuriko dissolved in water, turn the heat on again, and let the mixture thicken.

    Add the vegetables and pork, and stir-fry. If you like, you can drizzle in some sesame oil when done.

    Transfer to serving plates, and enjoy.
