Crispy & Creamy Double Cheese Chikuwa
These double cheese chikuwa make fantastic snacks and side dishes. I thought they'd be even more delicious than regular cheese chikuwa if I added a crispy layer of cheese on the outside too. .You don't need to oil the pan as the oil from the cheese will be sufficient. When the bottom of the cheese starts to crisp, it'll be easy to unstick so don't interfere with the cooking until that point. Recipe by AyakoOOOOO

Chikuwa Fish Sticks and Cheese Isobe-yaki
My mom used to make this for me when I was a kid. I used to ask for these in my bento every day. Now that I'm an adult, I enjoy them now with alcohol. My friend's twins, who are usually in good terms, fight over these and would even eat them if they fell on the floor. That's how good they are.I like spicy mayonnaise, so I usually have it with these fish sticks, but you can use normal mayonnaise, spicy cod roe, or wasabi. The bread crumbs are optional. Use egg instead of bread crumbs to make piccata. Recipe by food town

Rolled Chikuwa for your Bento
I found it too much work to try to stuff cheese into the holes of chikuwa, so I started rolling them instead, and progressed to this stage. I've been making this for my family for 5 years - it's a long-running hit!The key is to adjust the way the cheese and shiso leaf are layered so that they don't get stacked up at the end of the roll. Although it's a bit extra work, score the chikuwa since those scores are really important in making the chikuwa easier to roll. Recipe by Karumichan

Cucumber & Carrot Stuffed Chikuwa for your Charaben

I used 1/4 of a carrot cut down to 3 cm. Chikuwa and Egg Wrapped in Bacon
I had leftover boiled egg, so decided to use it to fill some chikuwa. To make this dish close to a dish served at my favorite fish paste shop, I wrapped it in bacon. You don't have to use mayonnaise in the eggs. For a healthier version, try heating the rolls in a microwave instead of frying. Depending on the size of the chikuwa, you may have some leftover boiled egg. I estimated 1 boiled egg will fill about 4 chikuwa sticks. This should also be good if you add ham, so try it out. You may also try heating the rolls quickly in a toaster oven. Recipe by Midorenja-

Asparagus in Chikuwa Wrapped in Pork Belly
I was getting tired of stuffing in just asparagus and cucumber, so I wrapped it up in pork slices that I just so happened to have, and it transformed from a beer snack into a side dish.If you place the overlapped parts of the pork on the bottom when cooking, then it won't unravel. You can enjoy this with just salt and pepper, but it is fun to dip it in sauce. Recipe by Kiki mama
