Okro soup with ogbono Okro soup with ogbono
#Ashlab.Okro soup has been one of the most easiest and quickest soup to prepare.some argue that okro takes a lot of time and energy to make, but for me I used the blender method to blend my okro and ogbonno due to the fact that I don’t like the smell that comes from ogbonno,So blending it together with the okro removes the smell and also gives it a nice taste. It’s known as miyan kubewa in Hausa.I love everything about okro soup mixed with ogbonno, especially that part of draw, which makes it fun while eating. Blending your belly pepper, chilly pepper with the garlic, onions and cray fish gives the paste a nice aroma and also taste.Least I forget I used the processed okro because I couldn’t get the fresh okro here .You can cut spinach and add to your okro soup.Don’t forget to wash your hands before you start cooking and also wash all the veggies that needs to be washed. Artichoke Veggie Recipe (Agkinares a lá polita) Artichoke Veggie Recipe (Agkinares a lá polita)
This is a delicious recipe filled with veggies from Artichokes, to Carrots, and Potatoes. As I mentioned in a previous post I am not really a fan of red meat. I prefer chicken or turkey but I don’t eat this on a daily basis, in fact I love salads, any kind of salad just love them. 🙂 I am sure that if you are a vegetarian or just love eating veggies you will absolutely love this simple dish.A lovely and healthy dish that is loved especially by my husband. and I actually consider this a one-pot recipe, because all you have to do is throw all the ingredients in a pot and cook. Can it get any easier then that? I don’t think so 🙂 Foodzesty -
Greek Bean Soup with a twist (Fasolada) Greek Bean Soup with a twist (Fasolada)
Yesterday, was a bit of a chilly day in the Netherlands, so I decided to make this soup which is a favorite of mine. This soup is usually eaten during the winter time, so when you come home from that snowy or rainy day you want to have something warm to eat. You can always make this soup in advance and keep it in the freezer, all you do is warm it up and enjoy. :) The twist to my soup is that I add bacon, :) and with the oregano it gives it a rustic - spicy taste. I am a person who enjoys trying new things, so I often make this soup during the summer season, and eat it cold, like a salad. :) Foodzesty
