Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cuptuvar dal
  2. 1/4 cupgreen gram split
  3. 1 tbspbutter
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. For tadka-
  6. 1 tbspghee
  7. 1 tbspoil
  8. 2chopped tomatos
  9. 1chopped onion
  10. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  11. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  12. 4kashmiri red chilli
  13. PinchAsafetida
  14. as neededCurry leaves
  15. 2 tbspCoriander leaves(for garnishing)

Cooking Instructions

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash the dal very well and put the dal,haldi,little salt in Presure cooker on high flame for 4 whistle aftr that let it cools down and mash with the masher

  2. 2

    Assemble all the ingredients and heat up the pan for tadka add ghee,oil and cumin seeds,mustard seeds let it crakle

  3. 3

    Add kashmiri red chilli,curry leaves,hing,onion,garlic cloves and saute well

  4. 4

    Add tomatoes,coriander leaves,salt and all dry masalas

  5. 5

    Add butter and cook for 10 minutes on slow flame

  6. 6

    Serve with rice
