Mike's Hot & Creamy Seafood Artichoke Spinach Dip

Since it's Veteran's Day Weekend, my youngest students wanted to make something extra special for their Center. This dish is what they decided upon. [well, that and a massive queso dip as well] What a hot, creamy, delicious appetizer to serve our National Hero's kiddos! They all absolutely loved their homemade tortilla chips and dip brunch today! Man, you kids really do make me proud! Y'all rock!

Mike's Creamy Hot Crab Dip & Chilled Spread Mike's Creamy Hot Crab Dip & Chilled Spread
This recipe is served one of two ways. A hot and creamy dip on crackers. Or, served as a chilled spread on toasted bagels.I've never had any leftovers with this recipe. What I love most about my dip/spread is that most crab dip recipes employ ingredients that always seem to overpower the crab flavor altogether - this recipe certainly does not. Even blind folded, you'll definitely know your eating a quality crab dip.If you love crab - you're going to adore this recipe! I hope you do. Artichoke Spinach Dip Artichoke Spinach Dip
Whenever I see this dish at a restaurant, I always order it. I wanted to make my own at home, so I looked through lots of recipes, but I couldn't find one that I liked. I used the ratio or ingredients that I liked, and I rearranged them to make this recipe to suit my taste. The key is to sauté the onion and simmer in the consommé. Baking the cheese in the oven until it turns golden brown, mixing it, and sprinkling the cheese on top, then baking it again are also the keys. Baking one time is not good enough. It's a little bit troublesome, but you can make rich and delicious dip. If it's hard to get canned artichokes in Japan, just use spinach. It's also tasty! Avocado might be good in this dish as well. Recipe by stickybandaids cookpad.japan -
