উপাদানগুলি

Preparation : 20 mins, Cooking:  50 mins
6 to 8 serving
  1. Ghee 1/4 cup
  2. Oil 1/4 cup
  3. Bay leaf 1 pc
  4. Cardamom 4/5 pcs
  5. Clove 4/5 pcs
  6. Cinnamon 2 sticks
  7. Onion slice 1 cup
  8. Onion paste 2 tbsp
  9. Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  10. Garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
  11. Chili powder 1/2 tbsp
  12. Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
  13. Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  14. Mutton/Beef 1kg
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Prunes (alu bukhara) 4/5 pcs without seed
  17. Cashew nut 10/12 pcs
  18. Yogurt 3 tbsp
  19. Fried Onion (beresta) 1/2 cup
  20. Green chillies 5/6 pcs
  21. Kewra water 3/4 drops
  22. Sugar 1/2 tsp

Preparation : 20 mins, Cooking:  50 mins

    Heat ghee & oil in a cooking pot & add whole spices.

    Add sliced onion & give it a glossy texture

  3. 3

    Pour pastes & powder spices.
    Cook until oil separates off the spice mixture.

    Mix meat & salt. Try not to add water at this stage. Cook 30 mins with a lid in a low flame.

    Make a paste of prunes, nut, yogurt & fried onions in a mixing jar.
    Add this paste to mutton curry.
    Now add water (appx 2/3 cup, may differ to quality of meat) to tender the meat in a medium high flame

    When meat becomes soft & tender with a thick gravy; add green chillies, sugar & kewra water.

    Enjoy this rich & savory dish with plain polao or nan/paratha!
