Ham and corn chowder

Ingredients

  1. 4 cupscooked ham diced
  2. 4celery stalks diced
  3. 1/2onion diced
  4. 2medium carrots diced (or 10 baby carrots)
  5. 1 cancorn
  6. 1 cancream of chicken soup healthy request
  7. 3/4 cupheavy cream
  8. Salt, pepper, thyme, onion & garlic powder
  9. 6-8 cupschicken stock
  10. 3 tbspflour
  11. 1 bagfat free cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Sautéing the veggies with olive oil, and use chicken broth to deglaze from time to time. Add spices

  2. 2

    Add chicken broth but reserve 2 cups of it in container to mix with flour later on

  3. 3

    Boil for 10-15 min and add the corn and ham.

  4. 4

    Mix in the heavy cream and whisk the flour into the remaining broth. Add to soup and simmer til thick

  5. 5

    Add cheese and stir well. Taste for seasoning
