Cooking Instructions

Wash the poha properly and drain excess water. Keep it aside.

Dry roast the peanuts for 2-3 minutes on low to medium flame. Remove from pan.

Now heat oil in the same pan, add potato cubes and fry till golden. Then remove from pan and keep aside.

In the same oil add black mustard seeds. Let it crackle.

Next add cumin seeds and wait for few seconds.

Add chopped onions and fry for 1-2 minutes on low flame.

Now add fried potatoes, roasted peanuts and curry leaves. Saute for 2-3 minutes.

Add poha and mix thoroughly.

Now add turmeric powder, salt and sugar. Mix properly and cook 3-4 minutes on low flame.

Add chopped coriander and mix well.

Atlast add lemon juice, mix well and cook for 30 seconds and turn off the heat.

Now serve kanda poha hot.
