Ingredients

  1. 2 cupspoha/pressed rice thick variety
  2. 2medium onions chopped
  3. 1tomato chopped
  4. 4green chillies chopped
  5. 2 tbsplemon juice
  6. 3 tbsprefined oil
  7. 1 tbsproasted peanuts
  8. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  9. 2 tbspgreen peas
  10. 2 tbspcoriander leaves
  11. 7-8fried curry leaves
  12. 1/4 th tspturmeric
  13. To tastesalt and sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash poha and drain water completely.Put it in a strainer and drain out excess water.Smear little turmeric.Leave aside for few minutes for poha to become soft but not mushy.

    Heat oil and fry curry leaves.Set aside.Add chopped onion and fry lightly.Add chopped tomato and fry.Add green peas, chopped green chillies and roasted or fried peanuts.Add the pressed rice/poha,salt and pinch of sugar to taste.Add the fried curry leaves.Sprinkle lemon juice and toss.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.Serve hot.
