Here Kanda means onion & poha means flatten rice.
Poha is very low in calories whch makes it most ideal choice for your morning breakfast. It's a whole some meal & good sauce of carbohydrates & iron , rich in fiber & a good sauce of antioxidants and essential vitamins & gluten free.

Cooking Instructions

Measure 1 cup of poha & place it in a strainer.

Rinse under running water till it soft.

Let it sit for 10 minutes.

In the meantime heat oil in a kadhai.

Add 🥜 peanuts and saute it till golden in colour.

Keep it aside.

In the remaining oil add mustard seeds & cumin seeds & let them splutter.

Add curry leaves green chilli and onions, cook it till onions are translucent.

Add peas & cook for another 2 minutes.

Now add rinsed poha, peanuts, salt & half teaspoon turmeric Powder.

Add 1/2 teaspoon sugar.

Give it a good mix.

Cook for one or two minutes.Then sprinkle one table spoon water and cover the lid.

Keep the flame on low heat.

After one or two minutes take out the lid & add some freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Served hot with chopped coriander leaves.
