Ingredients

  1. 2large onions, chopped
  2. 2potatoes
  3. 2 cupspoha
  4. 1 tspzeera
  5. 1 tsprai
  6. 1 pinchhing
  7. 3-4dry red chillies
  8. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  9. 1 tspHaldi/turmeric powder
  10. 1 tspsalt
  11. 1/2lemon juice
  12. 3 tbspoil
  13. 8-10curry leaves
  14. 2green chillies, chopped
  15. 1/4 cupcoriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a vessel. Add the jeera, rai, red chillies and curry leaves. Let them splutter. Now add hing and the chopped onions. Saute till onions are translucent. Add salt, haldi powder, ginger garlic paste and chopped green chillies. Saute for a few minutes. Peel, chop and add the potatoes. Cook till potatoes are tender. Add some of the coriander leaves.

    Meanwhile, wash the poha in a strainer and set aside for 5 minutes. Add the poha to the onions and mix well. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Add lemon juice and sprinkle coriander leaves as garnish before serving. Enjoy!
