Ingredients

  1. 2 bowlspoha
  2. 2potatoes
  3. 2onion
  4. 2Green chilli
  5. 1tomato
  6. 2 tbsp peanuts
  7. 1/2 bowlpeas
  8. To tastesalt
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  12. 1 tbsp sugar
  13. 1lemon
  14. 2 tbsp cooking oil
  15. 1/8 tspasafoetida
  16. 1 tspmustard seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Wash, peel and chop onion, tomato, potato, chilli. Dry roast peanuts.

    Heat oil in a karahi. Add mustard seeds and when mustard seeds splutter add asafoetida and saute for 30 seconds. Add chopped onion and cook till onion gets translucent. Add potatoes and peas and saute till done on low flame.

    Add half quantity of salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix. Add chilli, tomato, peanuts and mix well and saute for 2 minutes.

    Add poha, herbs and remaining salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and sugar mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Squeeze a lemon juice and mix well. Switch off the flame.

    Serve hot with sauce.
