  1. 150 gramsyellow moong dal
  2. 1onion chopped
  3. 3 green chillies
  4. Handful of coriander leaves
  5. 6 garlic cloves
  6. 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
  7. 1 table spoon sesame seeds
  8. Oil as per your requirement
  9. Salt
  10. Turmeric powder
  11. Fruit salt

Cooking Instructions

    Soak moong dal in water for two hours.

    Drain excess water.In a mixer jar add coriander leaves, chillies, garlic, moong dal and salt.Grind coarsely.To this add turmeric, sesame seeds and cumin seeds.Mix well.

    Heat a appe patra add little oil and sesame seeds.Add fruit salt to mixture and activate it.Add one tspoon ful mixture in each cavity.Cover and cook.

    Once cooked in one side flip and cook other side,

    Serve hot with tomato sauce.
