  1. 1/2 bowlMoong chhilka dal
  2. Water as required for soaking dal
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1/4 tspRed chilli powder
  5. 1/4 tspCoriander seeds powder
  6. 1/4 tspGaram masala
  7. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  8. 1Onion
  9. 1Tomato
  10. Chopped coriander leaves 2 tb sp
  11. 2Green chilli

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak dal for 4 hours. Discard water and grind it to a paste. Mix all the masala ingredients.

    Chop onion, tomato, green chilli and coriander leaves and mix in dal. Add 1/2 tsp eno powder and mix.

    Now grease an appe pan and fill each cavity with 1tb sp mixture and cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame. Flip the side and cook from the other side.

    Serve hot with chutney
