Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2 cupsThick Poha
  2. 2medium sized potatoes
  3. 2medium sized onion
  4. 3-4green chillies slit
  5. 1 tspcurry leaves
  6. 3 tbsp oil
  7. 1/2 tbspmustard seeds
  8. 1/2 tbsp jeera
  9. 1 tbspPeanuts
  10. 1 tbsp cashew nuts
  11. 1 tbsp raisins
  12. 1/2 tbspturmeric powder
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. 1 pinchAsafoetida

Cooking Instructions

    Take the pan and add oil. Once the oil is hot add mustard, jeera and asafoetida.

    Now add chopped onion, green chillies and curry leaves. Add peanuts, cashews and raisins and saute for some time.

    Now add potatoes too. Add salt and turmeric. If you need water, you can add some. I didn't add. Add poha, mix it well. Cover it and cook it on low flame for another 5 minutes.

    Serve hot with wedge of lemon.
